Who We Are

In the heart of Withee, Wisconsin, Premier Livestock & Auctions, LLC stands as a beacon of agricultural tradition and innovation. Selling Monday through Thursday, 3,000-4,000 cattle are auctioned off, transported across 500 truckloads, all under one roof. Nestled at N13438 WI-73, just three miles south of Withee, Premier is renowned as the largest livestock auction house in the state.

The journey of Premier began in 2012 when Ken Stauffer acquired the current property and laid the groundwork for what would become a cornerstone of Wisconsin’s livestock market. With a deep-rooted history in raising and selling horses, Stauffers transitioned to focus solely on livestock after relocating from Pennsylvania in 1995 to start a dairy farm in Wisconsin. By 2001, he had found the ideal location in Withee, which paved the way for the auction house’s rapid growth. The significant expansion in 2017, which included all new offices and state-of-the-art facilities, marked a new chapter in Premier’s evolution.

In 2016, Rocky Olsen joined Premier Livestock & Auctions, LLC as a co-owner, bringing with him two decades of experience in the livestock auction business. His arrival not only bolstered the team but also introduced new customers and valuable industry connections, further enhancing Premier’s reputation in the market. Together, Ken Stauffer and Rocky Olsen make a dynamic duo, combining their expertise and passion to lead a thriving business. Their collaborative approach and shared commitment to excellence have propelled Premier to new heights, ensuring that it remains a trusted name in livestock auctions across the Midwest.

Today, Ken Stauffer and Rocky Olsen, are hands-on owners who are deeply involved in the daily operations of Premier. Their personal touch and commitment to quality set us apart from other auction houses. We cover nearly every state in the Midwest and offer a diverse range of products, from farm machinery to certified organic cattle. We’ve also adapted to modern trends with online auctions, ensuring we meet the needs of all our clients. As we look to the future, we’re excited about our upcoming expansion and continuing to be the trusted choice for cattle and equipment auctions, and holding the largest dairy cattle auction in the Midwest.
